Through a valued collaboration between Diyanet and Emergency Relief Team (ERT), 55 Eid meat vouchers valued at $250 each were distributed to Palestinian families supported by ERT. Generously funded by Diyanet and purchased through Tek Foods and Deer Park Halal Meats, the vouchers were distributed to 12 families in Melbourne’s west on 18 May 2026 and a further 43 families across the north, south, north-east, and Geelong regions on 23 May 2026.
Supported by 15 dedicated volunteers across both distribution days, this initiative helped ensure families could celebrate Eid with dignity and joy. ERT extends its sincere gratitude to Diyanet for their generosity and commitment to supporting vulnerable families during this special time of giving, compassion, and community.
