On 13 March 2026, Emergency Relief Team Inc. (ERT) partnered with Step by Step to deliver Eid gift packs to 30 elderly residents at Ottoman Village in Broadmeadows. Supported by 22 volunteers across the sorting, packing, and distribution stages, the project provided a total of 1,004 items, including clothing, toiletries, activity supplies, blankets, beverages, and other essentials.
The event was honoured by the attendance of the Official Consul General of Türkiye, Doğan Işık, and Vice Consul for Social Affairs, Harun Işık. In addition to the gift packs, Step by Step provided fresh haircuts and live music, helping create a joyful and meaningful Eid celebration for the residents.
