Janev Aziz – Event Planner

Janev is a much loved and respected member of the Turkish Cypriot Community. She has spent most of her lifetime volunteering with various community groups, sports clubs, and organising charity events and fundraisers. Her long list of successful community roles include being the first female president of Albion Rovers Football Club; a former Brimbank City councillor; and the President of the organising committee of the Cyprus Turkish Festival. She has also organised many of her own charity fundraisers over the years, including multiple successful charity events for the Breast Cancer Network Australia, helping raise over $20,000. Most recently she was part of the volunteer group who helped deliver a container full of Turkish aid to victims of the Türkiye earthquake. If there is ever a community in need of support, you can expect to see Janev there!
